Have my own boat. Made it to the lake twice this week, and had to dodge a lot of debris, trees and logs specifically. Had to work hard for a few kings and rainbows from 30-60 ft dragging hoochies! Tight Lines!

We were able to get on 2 rainbows the otehr day. Both were under 2 pounds. Trolling some new spoons we got. We found them 35' trolling 1.5mph. The bank anglers off of the dam using powerbait did much better than us.

@JOD I have seen fish caught their but years ago. I have spent many hours up above the bridge from HWY1 and not a thing. Yes! the fishing is tough and very strict regulations.

No problem with the barbless hooks just need to keep tension on the fish. I catch a lot of fish on SD and they seem to hold up for me. I like catch and release if possible. It’s always good to get in the habit of keeping tension on your fish in my opinion.

Bodega Bay was slow for us in mid January. I have friends doing well out in Ocean Beach but I typically don't get out there.
